Fiddle-dee-dum, fiddle-dee-dee

As many of you well know, this has been the busiest semester I've ever had. I had six or seven hours of rehearsal in a row sometimes. I tried to keep up with my homework and such, but I was definitely behind there at the end. My paper grades were uneven, I was apathetic and procrastinatory . . . I was fully prepped to take a minor grade hit. Nothing life-destroying, just a bunch of B pluses, but I was actually worried it might be enough to disqualify me for honors, despite the magic of GPA inertia.
But . . .

I must be smarter than I thought I was.
Or better at sucking up.
I even somehow managed to wring an A out of Dana Burgess. Damn.
