Fame is but a fruit tree, so very unsound
Mar. 15th, 2006 03:26 pmAnother rejection this morning, this time from Michigan. They definitely win the award for briefest letter. It is quoted here in its entirety:
"Dear Ms. Fellman,
Thank you very much for your application to our Program in Greek and Roman History. Because this is a small Program with limited resources, we regret that we are unable to offer you admission. We wish you the very best in your future plans.
Sincerely, etc."
I also got rejected from UCLA (don't remember if I mentioned that), so that leaves me 1-5, with two remaining unaccounted for. If Cornell hadn't been so early and awesome, I'd definitely be in wrist-slitting territory by now.
On the other hand, I think I finally managed to identify what's been causing my poor compy to spaz out. I downloaded a driver update which should take care of it. (Provided my diagnosis is right, of course.)
Now, on to the dishes!
