Angels in the architecture
Nov. 2nd, 2002 09:41 pmThe Masquerade turned out to have no people, so some of us danced and played games and generally hung around for a while. Then Katie and I got into our pjs and watched "Gilmore Girls" for a while. I had never seen the show. Katie's a complete addict and thus was able to give me complete background info. It was okay, I suppose. But the VCR in the TV lounge is crap, so we took out the tape and flipped channels. There was the funniest show on one of the Spanish networks, called, I believe, "Debrez en cuando". It was some sort of sketch comedy/variety show/parody thing, and entirely in Spanish. Subtitles weren't necessary, though; it was pretty clear what was going on even if you don't know the language (like Katie) or understand it only vaguely (like me). The show was about Snow White (a la Walt Disney), only played by this guy in drag who had extremely hairy arms. Very cheesy but a lot of fun.
I spent all today doing laundry and reading. I also walked to the grocery store for shampoo and bagel chips and grape soda(the latter two to which I've become addicted). Boring, boring, boring.
It's still cold. And if I go to church in the morning, I'll have to walk... Brrrrr. Maybe I'll just accept eternal damnation in return for an extra two hours sleep in a nice warm bed. Hey, I don't even have to be eternally dammned! I'm an Anglican! Yippee!
Wow. I must be an eensy bit more tired than I thought. Goodnight, y'all.
