I dragged my sorry ass out of bed this morning and schlepped to the Heath Center, where I was informed that I could have a persistent, terrible cough for up to eight weeks before they decide something is wrong. On the plus side, I was given cough syrup with codeine in it, which means I can have extraordinarily vivid dreams if I so choose.
Speaking of which, I had the weirdest dream this morning when I took a nap after Greek. Dianne worked at the Writing Center with me, and, for some reason, Dana Burgess was holding a tutorial there. He had two beginning Greek classes instead of one, so there were a bunch of people I didn't know who kept asking me for help. At one point, there was a subplot (don't tell me your dreams don't have subplots) involving walking to the library and something to do with Warcraft monsters--I think they were hunting us for some reason. Anyway, when we returned to the Writing Center, Richard Gere dropped by. Turns out that he was an amateur Ancient Greek enthusiast and had a translation he wanted us to look over. It was pretty good, near as I can figure.
No real plans for this four-day. Stephanie and I are going to hang around here, except tomorrow, when she's going to Boise with Rob. Oooh, Boise.

Date: 2004-10-10 01:24 pm (UTC)I just got mad because up until this point I have always assumed you would come and visit me if you got the chance and this disproved that theory. I understand that you couldn't come. It probably wouldn't have been good for me either, but I hate that you never visit me. I miss you a lot and yet, I always have to be the one to make an effort. I understand, it is easier for my, you're sudo-on my way home and I have a car. However, it still sucks that you never come down. At this point I revert back to the assumed you would and you didn't concept. I know it is dumb, but it would have even been better if you had said something more than basically: "I have absolutely nothing to do" followed by "My friends are going to Boise." Even a "I wish I could go see Rachel" would have been nice. I'm sorry I just miss seeing you, especially after having the summer to once again spend every waking moment with. So anyway. I'm really trying to come up on the 22nd. I should have money for my stay there, but I don't think I'll have gas money, but I think I can guilt mom into giving me some if I promise to do work for her when I'm home. We'll see. Get better Dork.

I love you and I miss you.
