A poor consumptive wretch
Dec. 18th, 2005 06:17 pmBack in good ol' M-town, where it is EVEN COLDER than Walla Walla. Life is not fair.
In other news, I am a genius. Seriously. For Christmas, I brought my brother a wireless router. Result? We can be online at the same time, which means a very happy holiday for everyone. Also, I no longer have to sit in the freezing basement. My room is pretty cold, too, but at least I can feel my toes.
Five of my quirks:
1. I write down every book I read for fun: title, author, date finished. But never school books--I don't know why.
2. I always scroll to the bottom of my friends page; I never read the newest entries first.
3. I normally won't let Aspen tear the page off my daily calendar. Sometimes I'll let her do it as a treat.
4. Whenever I have dead time--walking somewhere, taking a shower, etc.--I tell myself these elaborate stories, like I'm writing a novel aloud. They're usually genre fiction: history, mystery, fantasy . . . even a romance novel, but that one didn't last because I got impatient with the heroine.
5. I can't sit still and talk to somebody. I like it when people come over because then my room gets cleaned.
For the non-hobo contingent:

Gary Trudeau is the wind beneath my wings.
