Story for those of you who play World of Warcraft (the rest of you can go ahead and skip this): I've started raiding with a guild some of my friends are in, and I was in MC with them the other night. I'd finally gotten Vent to work and said something snarky when I let a rogue die. I immediately got several whispers saying "Haha, in guild chat they're saying, "Euridice is a GIRL?" Then half the guild asked in unison: "Is she single?" And these people wonder why they don't have girlfriends . . .

In other news, I'm officially presenting at the Classical Association of the Atlantic States' Convention in Baltimore in October. Spiffy.

Must . . . learn . . . French! And study Greek. And study Latin.

Dianne is coming to visit me!
