How in hell else could she be?
Sep. 7th, 2004 10:19 pmDUDE. I LOVE this job. I have done all my homework, helped a really sweet freshman, paid our power bill, and have access to unlimited superfast internet.
I think I'm going to like working at the Writing Center.
In other news, our Greek last night included a phrase that almost everyone in the class translated initially as: "On one hand, the man is strong, on the other hand, he is a farm." "Lazy" and "farm" are real similar in the spelling, you see.
Kyra continues to amuse. She glossed Thucydides as saying: "Your greatest honor will be in not being mentioned; go have more kids." I'm sure it sounded better in the original.
I burnt dinner, so it sucked. But I will persevere, and despite Ruty's proclamation, I will make bean burritos again, because these were NOT typical. They are usually yummy beyond measure.
Boy, my life is boring.
