"I am confused," said the traveler

This is basically to show off my new icon. I got bored with all my old ones.
I'm still sort of reeling from the Cornell thing. It looks like they really want me. The guy with whom I'd be working emailed me, and he's supposed to call sometime tomorrow. I don't really know what to ask him; any suggestions? I do want to know some things about resources and library holdings, but I can't figure out how to bring up a lot of it without sounding demanding or whiny. Oh well. This is a good sort of confusion. No word from the other five schools, but I can handle it now. I would like to know about Stanford before I get down there, though.
I overslept this morning and missed Latin, and then I totally skipped Kyra's class to take a nap. (And do some orals reading. I'm not wholly a deadbeat.) Bad Mary. Bad bad. On the other hand, I don't really care, and neither do my profs, apparently. So . . .
