Well . . .
I'm here in Olin, checking e-mail 'n' such. The bathroom is almost completely done, our living room is taking shape, and, as always, my room is far from decorated.
We went over to Marta's last night--it's really cool. I am jealous. But I like our place, and I like my roommates. Housemates. Whatever.
I want classes to start RIGHT NOW. *grumble*

I tried to go but the directions sucked so I went back to my room and worked on computer programs.

I gave up, personally. I went to the corner and saw that there were two houses. One had a late model truck and a campaign sign for a local election. I figured this meant townies. The other house had three nice fairly nice cars, a very well maintained yard (at least in the dark), and from the two open windows, looked to be fairly well decorated. This also, I thought, indicated townies. I therefore walked across the street to Casablanca, a much crappier looking house, and saw that it contained a bike and two couches covered in sheets. "Ah ha", I said, "college students!" But that was not Marta's house, and when I asked the residents if they knew where Marta lived, they directed me to the FUSH, and when I informed them that I was looking not for Marta Olsen by Marta Jankowska, they said they didn't know that name and so I left. After that I more or less gave up.

Yeah, it was the nicely groomed lawn (which took me a fucking hour and a half to mow), two nice (and identical) cars, and nice furniture. Yup thats my house (which I would like to point out is only $250 a month utilities included).

In July, when I was a naive little study abroad student, I wanted classes to start. However now that I'm almost halfway through the semester, I suddenly have a whole bunch of projects and papers that I want to ignore.

Just remember, if we lived with Marta we'd have to put up with the horrible Mr. Funsocks. He's in my religion class and he's really obnoxious. He's so confident of his own intelligence he seems to think that he's doing us all a favor by deigning to be in a class with us mere mortals. Grumble.
