Ruty suggested that I post instead of doing my homework. A brilliant solution.
So, this week I have three tests and a research proposal/bibliography. That's right, kids, every one of my professors thought: "Gee, they won't have any other stuff this week; I'll put my test (torture device) on Monday or Friday when they'll be well-prepared and well-rested (hungover/sleep-deprived/still drunk)." Bastards.
Also I told Dr. Bode I'd know a bunch of music for Monday and I don't know squat.
Maybe for "fun" I'll work on my music theory, or read a book on St. Helena, or memorize the third declension, or swot up on madrigals, or gouge out my eyeballs.

Oh, poor Mary. She's got a bunch to do. I don't have anything, just all of my FINALS. No, just joking. I feel the love (or is it hate). Really I do. I pulled an all nighter last night to finish two papers I didn't have time to do because of the play. Yay for sleep deprivation!

last night, I was on the verge of gouging out my eyes. I was harmonizing melodies and bass lines in 4 voice textures. damn parallel motion and direct 5ths and 8ves. *gouge gouge gouge* I had my straight edge in hand and my eyes ready, too, damnit, it would have been a physical representation of my mind. bloody music theory. I love it so!!! (and I reallly do, but it's fucking hard.!!!)
