Alone AGAIN, *un*naturally. Heh. They're at the movies. I a) had to work and b) didn't want to see Phantom of the Opera, so I am not feeling rejected tonight.
Also, I finished my paper, and I got called back for the audition I had yesterday, so I'm feelin' no pain. w00t.
And my cold is getting better. And we don't have chorale tomorrow, which would normally not be a good thing, but since I can't sing anyway, it will be nice to have the hour.
And this song kicks ASS.
And look, here are my housemates. Yay!

Well, you signed up for all of it, silly boy. Should have majored in something easy. Like history.

Hey, I was just on the Episcopal community and I was looking around to see if there was anyone else in the Walla Walla area. I happen to live in College Place and am attending WWC. I just thought I'd pop in and say hi :)

Yo! I'm a student of Kraig Scott, so I'm at WWC weekly. Do you go to St. Paul's?

Yeah, I try to go but I haven't been lately for various reasons.

Also, I'm pretty shy/busy and I moved here in the summer for school so I still haven't gotten the chance to really know anyone sans Fr. Steve and a woman named Diane.

Are you studying organ or piano with Scott? Or does he teach something else I'm not aware of? (I'm a sociology major here so my knowledge of profs. outside my dept. is limited, sorry).

Organ. Silly soc majors. *winks* (I'm a history major myself.)
Are you aware of/have you been going to the discussion group he holds for college students? It's Tuesdays at 4:30. I haven't been yet this semester, but I'm going to try . . .

Ooh, my best friend is a history major, which era is your specialty? I'm partial to the Greco-Roman era myself, mostly in the religious practices (I'd like to master in religious and political ethics), although I'm a bit rusty.

No, I haven't heard of the discussion group. I saw something on the site about a club but I thought it was exclusively for Whitman students...uh, I think it was "Canterbury Club" or something. Is that the same thing? And also, like I said, I'm a bit shy sometimes around people. Not having a car/license doesn't help matters much.

Okay, that settles it. *friends you*
I am in fact an ancient history major--current specialty the late Roman Empire--and wrestling mightily with ancient Greek.
As for the group, it's intended for Whitties, but by no means exclusive--you'd be more than welcome. The no car thing is a problem, though.
Are you planning on going to Ash Wednesday services?

I have a new friend! (World proceeds to end) ;)
A friend of mine comes with me to service when we manage to stumble out of bed on Sundays, maybe I can talk to her about going. Only thing is though, the website says it's on Mondays at 4:30 and I have a class then. Sadness.

I'm thinking of attending the 7 pm service on Wednesday if my buddy can go. 7 am is too early for either of us and she gets out of class at noon so yay for process of elimination. How about you?

It's on Tuesdays this semester, same time.

I can't possibly do 7 AM (I have problems getting up at 8!), and I have class at noon, so if I went to any it would be the 7 PM. I'm usually too exhausted to even attempt, but maybe I'll make it this year . . .

You need to get some friends. Or maybe a puppy. Then you wouldn't be alone all the time.

I vote puppy. Everybody loves puppies...especially me.

Our next-door neighbors (the meth dealers) seem to be dog breeders. They have two adult pomeranian-looking things over there and two fluffy little babies. They are so cute! Sometimes I feel like stealing them from the meth-heads, but then the dogs start their yappy barking, and I figure they are probably happier where they are.
