I just had the biggest "Duh!" moment ever. So I was looking at grad schools, and wanted to go to Tulane's webpage. But it wouldn't load. So I tried Googling it. Still no load. I tried a departmental page. Still no load. Then it hit me: Tulane is in New Orleans.

I seldom pray by myself; I have a strong liturgical/conformist streak (shall we say). But boy am I praying right now.

Grad school list stands at 41. Current fancy: The Ohio State University.

Oooo . . . that's actually quite brilliant. You see, I never would have been able to figure that one out on my own. I'm just not good at making connections between seemingly unrelated things, like hurricanes and the internet.
