I'm procrastinating hardcore on my Greek paper. All he wants is a draft. I have a thesis, kind of. Why is this so hard to write? Gar.
Grad school update: rejected from Columbia. But they can suck it, because I talked to the Cornell hobo, and they still want me despite my lack of linguistic overpowerage. I have to learn a modern language in the next two years, though; I can't count Greek and Latin. French, here I come!
My recital is Wednesday. That is TWO DAYS FROM NOW. Exactly 48 hours from now, in fact. I'M NOT FREAKING OUT OH NO NOT ME. It should actually be okay as long I don't panic during Buxtehude. That would be a good name for a memoir, Panic During Buxtehude: My Days as an Organist. To go with Dr. Pickett's Misbehavior during Bruckner. Anyway, back to work.

Why French? Why not German, Italian, or Spanish? Italian in particular should be a mere bagatelle* to someone who knows Latin.

*Use the word "bagatelle" in a sentence: "This is getting ugly, we bagatelle outa here."
