At the request of Katie, six little-known facts about myself:

1) I read the comics and attendant section in a very specific order. I do not deviate from this order. On Sunday, I refused to read Foxtrot at my brother's request for this reason.

2) I harbor a secret fondness for romance novels.

3) I really, really like china. Dishes and all that.

4) I keep a list of every book I read for fun, with specific marks so I'll know what I thought of it later.

5) The only blue ink pen I'll use is the neat erasable one Aspen got me in France.

6) I don't like soup.

Edit, 1:00 AM
For Ruty:
3a) Although I like scented soaps and lotions, I won't use scented deodorant or laundry detergent.

6a) I wear my watch on my right wrist, even though I'm not left-handed.

There, Ruty, are you happy?

I have been nothing but a lazy bum this week. My parents have gone to Italy (the bastards), leaving me along with Jack. We haven't fought yet, which is frankly sort of creepy. But hey, I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

Peace to all my homies in jail.

*shrug* Just don't like it. There are occasional exceptions, but, by and large, it doesn't appeal.

I agree. I just don't like drinking my meals. Food should be substantial, filling, and it should require a certain amount of chewing.

How many friggin' times was I subjected to lentil soup? A lot! It was ok so long as I didn't have to eat the pepperoni and mashed it into unrecognizable mush.

Lentil soup is the only exception. And you are so crazy with respect to food that you shouldn't even get started.

I agree on 2 and 3--especially 3. I'm the only one in my family who ever uses it.

Your fondness for romance novels is hardly secret!

back when I used to read the comics, I also read them in a very specific order.

My mom really likes china. we have way too much of it, and it frankly sort of annoys me. On the plus side, there are definitely some china sets in my future...for example, when I get my own place or get married.
But I still don't understand why, if there is NO SPACE for another china set, one should buy still more china. Because it means that the china I really like from my younger years has disappeared...

Ruty has never been so happy!

I knew #3 and #6 already, so maybe you should come up with two more facts, since those clearly aren't "little-known" enough.

Do you make a distinction between soup, chowder and stew?

Yes. Chowder and stew I like (or at least find more appealing), due to their hearty nature.

ditto on #2 and 1...also, I have a weird thing about pens too - I go on pen fixations, where I use a certain pen for a period of time and then wait until a new one captures my fancy. rereading what I just wrote, I have come to the conclusion that I'm just bizarre.

also, soups = mostly no good. but! chowder and stew = hearty and good. word.

Number 4 applies to me, too. (Whew! I feel much less odd now.)

You all are crazy. Stew is 9 times out of 10 inedible. I blame the pervasive nature of celery. Soup is teh tasty, especially if it is puréed such that I don't know what it contains. Except beets. They are just not ok. Chowder is yummy too. Especially clam. Yum.
